Nancy Pellicer Dyer is of Minorcan decent. Her family is from St. Augustine, Florida, the nation's oldest city. She grew up hearing stories of the struggles of her ancestors from her father. Her desire to learn the truth behind the folk tales brought her to the history books. Nancy's wish to share what she had learned led to her first novel, The Minorcan Yoke. Her sequel novel, The Minorcan Quarter tells the rest of the story.
Nancy's working career has been in the communications industry. She has lived, worked, and traveled extensively in the Mediterranean as well as the U.S.A. At present, Nancy and her husband live near Richmond, VA. She is working on her third novel.
